PHLEGREAN FIELDS: POZZUOLI
Tour up to a maximum of 4 people
Phlegrean Fields is a very unusual and not so touristic itinerary. It is about the North area of Naples (near Pozzuoli), one of the richest Greek-Roman sites. The tour starts with an environmental walk to the active volcano of Solfatara passing through the archaeological route of Flavio’s amphitheatre, and the Serapis’ remains. In the very site of Serapis’ Temple, the macellum, it could be possible to understand a typical phenomenon of this whole area that’s the bradiseysm. Rione Terra is a very charming place for its historical suggestion. However it cannot be always visited.
